Candy Cookies Recipe - Gluten Free

Chop up some Turtles candy into small pieces.

Crush up some M & M candies in a ziploc bag using a rolling pin.

Dump some margarine, granulated sugar, and brown sugar into a large mixing bowl.

Beat with electric hand mixer until well combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Beat again with electric hand mixer.

Measure in  Bob's Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten Free Baking Flour, ground oats, xanthan gum, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Blend in dry ingredients using the electric hand mixer again.

Dump the chopped up Turtles and the M & M candies into the mixing bowl.

Use a large wooden spoon to fold them into the cookie batter until well combined.

Drop the cookie dough, using a one tablespoon scoop or a tablespoon, onto the parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

Flatten the cookies slightly.

Place the cookie sheet into the preheated 350F oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are just golden brown around the bottom edge.

Remove from oven and allow to cool on pan for about 10 minutes.

Transfer to a cooling rack.
