Hobo Casserole Asian Style Recipe

Slice yellow onion and carrots.

Put some ground beef in a mixing bowl and add some garlic powder, salt and pepper.  Mix well.

Press the ground beef into the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking pan.

Spread the sliced onions over top of the meat.

Place a layer of sliced carrots on top of the onion.

Spread some cooked Jasmine rice over the carrots.

Prepare sauce by combining some brown sugar, corn starch, chili peppers and ginger.

Stir in some gluten free soy sauce and water.

Pour sauce over rice.

Cover casserole.

Place in a preheated 350F oven for 90 minutes.

Near end of cook time cut up some green onions.

Remove from oven, uncover and sprinkle with the green onions. You could also sprinkle with sesame seeds at this time if desired.

Cut into squares.
