How To Make Creamed Peas - Dairy Free

Quarter enough pearl onions to make 1/2 cup.

Pour some almond milk into a medium size sauce pan over medium heat. Add the onions, salt, pepper and paprika.

Mix a bit of  almond milk with a bit of gluten free flour to form a paste.

Whisk the paste into the milk mixture in the sauce pan.  Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to simmer, drain a  can of peas and add peas  to the sauce.

Stir to combine.

Allow the peas to simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve straight from the pot...

or transfer to a serving dish.
