Gluten Free Vanilla Cake

With electric hand mixer beat some shortening and eggs together until combined.

Add some almond milk and vanilla extract. Beat on low speed to combine.

Add some Bob's Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten Free Baking Flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Beat on low speed until combined and then on medium speed for about 1 minute.

Grease and flour two round cake pans.

Divide cake batter between the two prepared pans.

Place the cake pans in a preheated 350F oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from oven and allow to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes.

Invert one layer onto a serving plate and the other onto a cooling rack.

Allow layers to cool completely before assembling.

Decorate as desired.
