How to Make Instant Pot Beef Chili

Turn the Instant Pot to saute and add vegetable oil. Add some lean ground beef.

Saute for about 3 minutes. The beef will still have a lot of pink remaining.

Add 1 cup of water and deglaze the pot.

Drain and rinse a can of mixed beans.

Add beans to the Pot and stir.

Dump some salsa on top of the beef and beans and do not stir.

Place lid on Pot, turn steam release handle to sealing position and set Pot to Pressure Cook High for 5 minutes.

When done turn steam release handle to venting position. Remove lid.  Stir contents well and allow Chili to cool for a few minutes.

Serve with fresh buns, toast or Tortilla Scoops!

Or enjoy it topped with some grated cheese.
