Instant Pot Hamburger Macaroni and Cheese

Set Instant Pot to saute less for 5 minutes. Saute ground beef in Pot with some olive oil.

When the Instant Pot turns off the ground beef will still be slightly pink.

Add water to the Pot with the ground beef and scrape any brown bits off the bottom of the Pot.

Add penne noodles (I use the Tinkyada brand) and spread them out evenly on top of the ground beef. Do not stir.

Add some pasta sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. DO NOT STIR.

Place  lid on Instant Pot, turn steam release handle to sealing position and set Pot to Pressure Cook High for 2 minutes.

Once the Pot is done cooking, immediately turn the steam release handle to the venting position and do a quick release.

Remove the lid and stir the contents well.

Add some shredded cheese and stir again.

Allow cheese to melt before serving.
