How To Make Salisbury Steak - Gluten Free

Add olive oil to large skillet over medium heat.

Dump some ground moose into a large mixing bowl.

Dice enough yellow onion to make 1/4 cup.

Add some diced onion, egg, salt, pepper, mustard powder, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. Mix togerher well.

Dice up some cooked bacon.

Add bacon to the meat mixture and mix well. Form the meat mixture into patties.

I divided the meat into 6 patties just over 6oz each.  Make pattie size to suit your own situation.

Place the patties in the heated pan, cover and cook for about 8 minutes. Cover.

While patties cook slice up the remainder of the yellow onion. Prepare packaged gravy.

Flip patties and leave a space in the center.

Add the sliced yellow onion.

Cook patties for about another 8 minutes and stir the onion occasionally.

Pour the prepared gravy over top of the patties in the skillet.

Return the lid and let the mixture simmer on low for about 5 minutes.

 Serve on top of mashed potatoes with your favourite vegetable as a side.
