Undone Stuffed Peppers Casserole

Dice some red and green pepper.

Place  olive oil and lean ground beef into a frying pan over medium heat. Sprinkle with asafoetida (or add minced garlic) and pepper.

After breaking up the meat and it starts to brown add the diced peppers.

 When the meat is cooked, drain and add pasta sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese and cooked rice to the frying pan.

Stir to combine ingredients. Reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes.

Scrape the meat mixture into a 2L casserole dish.

Sprinkle more shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the casserole.

Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 25 minutes.

Remove casserole from the oven.

Serve.
