The first step to create Strawberry Jello Mold is to cut up the strawberries into bite size pieces.
Next I dumped the contents of two boxes of strawberry flavoured jello powder into a large mixing bowl.
I then poured in 2 cups of boiling water and stirred until all the jello powder was dissolved.
Next I dumped the strawberry pieces into the jello.
I then set the bowl in the fridge for about an hour and 20 minutes until it was almost set.
After removing it from the fridge I added a tub of Cool Whip to the bowl.
I used a rubber spatula to fold the Cool Whip into the jello.
I sprayed the jello mold with cooking spray before I scraped in the Cool Whip mixture.
Now I put the lid on and returned it to the fridge. I left it to set for a couple of hours at least. The good thing about this mold is that it can be prepared a day ahead.
Just before dinner was served I removed the lid.
Next I inverted the mold onto a serving plate.
I removed the center piece of the mold and the jello released from the mold onto the plate.
I removed the container and set the Strawberry Jello Mold on the dinner table for everyone to enjoy with their holiday meal!
