To begin making Gluten Free Oven Stuffing, I took out a loaf of gluten free bread. At times I also use brown gluten free bread depending on what I have on hand.

Then I cut the slices of bread into cubes.

After cutting up the bread I spread the cubes out on a cookie sheet.

I placed the cookie sheet into a preheated 300F oven for 30 minutes to dry out the bread.

Then I chopped up one yellow onion.

Next I cut up some celery.

Next I placed a skillet over medium heat and added some butter.

While the butter was melting I measured out the seasonings.  I used sage, parsley, salt and pepper.

Once the butter melted I added in the cut up vegetables and seasonings.  I cooked the mixture for 5 minutes.

Once the bread was dried out I dumped it into a large bowl.

I increased the oven temperature to 350F.

Then I added the cooked vegetable mixture to the bread cubes.

Next I poured some chicken broth over the bread cubes.

At this time if you have decided to use Craisins you can add them as well.

I beat up an egg and poured it over the bread crumbs as well.

After the ingredients were added I stirred until all the bread crumbs were moistened.

Then I greased a large casserole dish.

Next I scraped the moistened bread crumbs into the prepared casserole.

I set the covered casserole in the preheated 350F oven for 30 – 35 minutes.

Then I removed the lid and continued cooking 10 – 15 minutes.
