To begin making Instant Pot Ground Beef and Noodles I plugged in my Instant Pot. I added oil and then hit the saute normal button.
I added the ground beef and cooked it until there was very little pink left.
While the meat was cooking I added 2 packets of Club House gluten free Brown Gravy mix to some beef broth and stirred well.
I then turned off the saute function and added water, uncooked gluten free pasta, the beef broth mixture, salt, pepper and some frozen mixed vegetables.
Here is my favourite gluten free pasta.
I gently stirred everything together so all ingredients were covered in liquid.
Then I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 3 minutes.
When the Instant Pot was done cooking, I turned the steam release handle to the venting position to finish with a Quick Release.
I removed the lid and gave the ingredients a quick stir before serving.
Enjoy Instant Pot Ground Beef and Noodles with a side salad or any side of your choosing. My husband loves to add some Frank’s Red Hot Sauce to his serving.

I have a quick question. I do not have a problem with gluten, so if I use regular items, will it affect the time or anything in the preparation of the recipe?

Hi Marc, Online I see people suggest 4 to 5 minutes for regular penne pasta. So you just need to adjust the cook time a little. Enjoy, Kathleen

Would it mess up the recipe if I was to use regular brown gravy and noodles instead of gluten free?

Hi Meghan, The recipe should be fine with regular gravy and noodles. Cook your regular noodles for the length of time you normally would in your Instant Pot recipes. I did 3 minutes for gluten free. I have seen some regular noodle recipes do 4 minutes. Good Luck and enjoy, Kathleen

Don't you need to drain the grease after browning the meat?
Kathleen
Saturday 6th of June 2020
Hi Stephanie, I used lean ground beef so I did not need to strain it. If you find you have a lot of grease after browning you may need to strain before moving on. Kathleen
