To begin making Gluten Free Creamed Corn I poured some almond milk into a medium size sauce pan over medium heat.
I added in some granulated sugar and salt.
Next I used a bit more almond milk to mix with Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten Free Baking Flour to make a paste.
I whisked the paste into the warm milk mixture.
I allowed the sauce to thicken and just begin to boil before reducing the heat to med/lo and adding some frozen corn.
At this time you can also add a bit of pepper.
I allowed the corn to cook for about 10 minutes in the sauce. I stirred occasionally.
Serve it directly from the stove or transfer the Gluten Free Creamed Corn to a serving dish.
Add a dash of colour to your dinner plate with this creamy side dish.

Ingredients You’ll Need to Make Gluten Free Creamed Corn:
- 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp almond milk, divided
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten Free Baking Flour
- 2 cups frozen corn
- 1/4 tsp pepper (optional)
How to Make Gluten Free Creamed Corn:
- Pour 3/4 cup of the almond milk into a medium size sauce pan over medium heat.

- Mix the remaining 2 tbsp of almond milk with the 2 tbsp of gluten free flour to form a paste.
- Whisk the paste into the milk mixture in the sauce pan.
- Continuing stirring until the mixture thickens and just comes to a boil.
- Reduce heat to med/lo, add the corn to the sauce. Stir to combine.
- Add pepper if using.
- Allow the corn to cook for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes serve from stove or transfer to a serving dish.
- Serve and enjoy!
