To make this Gluten Free Pasta with Meat Sauce I poured olive oil into the Instant Pot and turned it to the Saute Less function for 7 minutes.

I added in a pound of ground turkey and a pound of ground chicken.

After breaking up the ground meat I added in some dried basil, dried parsley, dried oregano, salt and pepper.

Once the Instant Pot turned off the meat was still slightly pink.

I added in one cup of water to deglaze the Pot, making sure to scrape any brown bits off the bottom.

Then I added in the remaining 3 cups of water.

Next I sprinkled in a box of Catelli Gluten Free Penne. I Did Not Stir.

Instead of stirring I gently pushed the penne down into the liquid.

Then I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 2 minutes.

Once the Instant Pot was done cooking, I immediately turned the steam release handle to the venting position to do a Quick Release.

Then I removed the lid and stirred the contents.  I find the residual liquid can vary each time.  If you have liquid you should drain or spoon it off before adding the pasta sauce.

I turned the Pot back to the Saute Less function and added in a jar of pasta sauce.

Then I stirred the sauce in and let it heat through before turning the Instant Pot off.

Serve this Instant Pot Pasta with Meat Sauce immediately and enjoy the blend of Italian seasonings in this one Pot comfort meal.
