To begin making Stove Top Salmon Casserole I put some water with a bit of salt on to boil for the pasta.

Then I opened two tins of salmon and drained the juices.  I also removed the skin and bones.

Once the water was boiling I dumped in some gluten free shells.

While the pasta was cooking I separated all the salmon.

After about 7 minutes I drained the pasta in the sink.  I didn’t want it too soft because I would be heating it more with the other ingredients.

Before putting it back into the pot I added a bit of olive oil and turned the heat down to medium low.

Once I returned the pasta to the pot I stirred in some frozen peas.

Next I put the lid back on the pot for 5 minutes to warm the peas.

After 5 minutes I stirred in some Miracle Whip and added salt and pepper.

To finish the casserole I stirred in the prepared salmon.  I let it sit for a couple of minutes.

Serve and enjoy this versatile recipe warm or cooled, as your main meal or as a side dish.  The choice is yours depending on your occasion.
