Bacon Wrapped Cherries are one of the easiest and tastiest appetizers to make. All you need is a jar of maraschino cherries and some gluten free bacon.
I used partially cooked bacon so that the cooking time was reduced.
This recipe will make 24 Bacon Wrapped Cherries.

To begin making Bacon Wrapped Cherries I drained some maraschino cherries on some paper towel.
Then I took some partially cooked bacon out of the fridge. You could use raw bacon and double the cooking time.
Next I cut the bacon slices in half.
Then I placed one of the cherries on the 1/2 slice of bacon.
I wrapped the bacon around the cherry and then held it in place with a toothpick.
Then I transferred the wrapped cherries to a small baking pan.
Before baking in the oven I poured some of the reserved cherry juice over the bacon wraps in the baking pan.
Then I placed the baking pan in a preheated 375F oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes I removed the baking pan from the oven.
You could serve the Bacon Wrapped Cherries straight from the pan or transfer them to a serving tray.
This quick and simple appetizer is a great addition to any gathering or event.
