Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip

Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip is an easy and delicious appetizer recipe.  I have been craving this dip since I had to limit my dairy intake.

With a base of dairy free cream cheese, it is loaded with the same flavour I have been missing.  I use the Tofutti brand for my dairy free recipes.

The signature bite is provided thanks to a generous splash of Frank’s Red Hot sauce.

This easy dip recipe easily serves 8 – 10 people.

The blend of dairy free cheeses, shredded chicken and hot sauce is a great accompaniment to gluten free crackers or chips. You could also serve it with chunks of gluten free bread if you prefer.

To begin making Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip I dumped some cooked shredded chicken, dairy free cream cheese, Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, Miracle Whip, Dairy Free Sour Cream and some crumbled Feta Goat Cheese into a large mixing bowl.

I stirred all these ingredients together well.

Next I measured in all the spices.  I used dill weed, chives, dried parsley, onion powder, garlic and salt.

Then I stirred until all the spices were incorporated into the creamed ingredients.

I transferred the dip mixture into a greased casserole dish.  Mine was 1.5 litres.

Then I baked it in a preheated 350F oven for 25 minutes.

While the Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip was baking I chopped up one green onion.

After 25 minutes I removed the dip from the oven.

Then I sprinkled the cut up green onion on top.

Serve up Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip at your next gathering with some crackers, chips or bread chunks for dipping.

If you are more comfortable with individual servings, take the time to spoon out the dip.

Use small serving bowls for individual dipping.

How to Make this Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a small casserole dish.
  2. Combine the cooked shredded chicken, dairy free cream cheese, Frank’s Red Hot sauce, Miracle Whip, dairy free sour cream and crumbled Feta goat cheese in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in all the seasonings.
  4. Tranfer the dip mixture to the prepared casserole dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated 350F oven for 25 minutes.
  6. While dip is cooking, slice up the green onion.
  7. Remove dip from oven and sprinkle the sliced green onion on top.
  8. Serve with a variety of gluten free crackers, chunks of gluten free bread or chips.
  9. Provide small dishes for individual servings if desired.
  10. Enjoy!
