The first thing I needed to do to make Gluten Free Peach Crisp was to mark the bottom of 8 peaches (enough to make 5 cups when sliced) with an “X”.

Next I blanced the peaches for one minute in boiling water so that they would be easier to peel.

After removing the peaches from the water I allowed them to cool slightly.

Then I peeled and sliced the peaches to make about 5 cups.

Once sliced I spread the peaches out in an 8″ X 8″ baking pan.

Next, I mixed together some granulated sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.

I sprinkled this sugar mixture over top of the peaches.

Now it was time to make the crumble topping.  To do this I measured gluten free quick oats, brown sugar, margarine, some more Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten Free Baking Flour and a bit of salt into a mixing bowl.

Then I used a pastry blender (a fork is good too) to combine the ingredients until they were incorporated and had a crumbly texture.

Once the topping was ready I sprinkled it evenly over the mixture in the baking pan.

Then I placed the Gluten Free Peach Crisp in a preheated 375F oven for 30 – 35 minutes.

When it was finished cooking I allowed it to cool before serving.

Gluten Free Peach Crisp is an easy dessert recipe that can be served warm or cold.

Finish it off with some whipped cream or ice cream if you prefer.  Or enjoy it plain to enjoy the seasonal flavour.

If you are looking for a colourful and tasty seasonal dessert this Gluten Free Peach Crisp is an excellent choice.

Each forkful is loaded with peaches and a bit of crunch that your guests will savour mouthful after mouthful!
