To begin making Gluten Free Blueberry Apple Crumble I rinsed off fresh blueberries and spread them out in a 9″ x 13″ baking pan.

Then I peeled and sliced enough apples to make four cups.  I spread them out on top of the blueberries.

Next I sprinkled granulated sugar and ground cinnamon on top of the fruit in the baking pan.

Then I prepared the crumble topping by dumping some Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Flour Blend, brown sugar, margaine and a bit of salt into a mixing bowl.

I used a fork to blend the ingredients together until they were crumbly.

Once the topping was well blended I sprinkled it evenly over the fruit mixture in the baking pan.

I placed the pan in a preheated 375F oven for 35 minutes or until the top was golden brown and the blueberries were bubbling.

After removing it from the oven I allowed it to cool before serving.

Serve it warm or cold.  Serve it plain or add a dollop of whipped topping or ice cream.

Either way Gluten Free Blueberry Apple Crumble is a delicious treat for your taste buds!

I did the gluten free blueberry / apple crumble for the office. I took this recipe because one of my colleagues has to eat glutten free. I reduced the sugar because I am borderline diabetic and I used butter from france instead of margarine. My colleagues just loved it.

Hi Christiane, I am so glad to hear you enjoyed the recipe. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your variations and results with us! I do miss butter in baking but I have to watch my dairy intake. So I only use it when margarine will not work. Thanks again, Kathleen
