To begin making Gluten Free Chicken Patties I heated some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

I added some gluten free panko style bread crumbs, dried parsley, sage, salt and pepper. I stirred the mixture occasionally and toasted it for about 5 minutes.

While toasting the bread crumbs I dumped some ground chicken into a mixing bowl with eggs, lemon juice and a diced yellow onion.

I added the toasted, seasoned bread crumbs.

Then I worked the ingredients together until they were well combined.

Once combined I used my hands to form the meat mixture into 6 patties.  If you prefer smaller patties you could form the mixture into 8 patties at this time.

Next I added more olive oil to the frying pan and turned it to medium heat.

I added the chicken patties and fried on one side for 8 minutes.

After 8 minutes I flipped the chicken patties and continued to cook for another 8 minutes.

Once they are cooked they can be served up immediately.

Use a gluten free bun and add your favourite toppings for a tasty chicken burger or....

...on nights where you want a more traditional meal serve the Gluten Free Chicken Patties smothered in gravy with a side of mashed potatoes and vegetables.
