To prepare Instant Pot Pork and Bean Soup I first cut up several slices of bacon and diced one yellow onion.

Then I added some olive oil to my Instant Pot and turned it to the Saute Less function for 10 minutes.

Next I dumped in the cut up bacon and diced yellow onion and stirred them occasionally while they cooked.

While the Saute Function was working I also sliced up 10 weiners.

When there was only a couple of minutes left on the Saute Function I added the weiners and stirred them in with the bacon and onion.

Once the Saute Function shut off I added in one cup of beef broth and used it to deglaze the Pot.

This means I carefully scraped any brown bits from the bottom of the Pot to avoid the Burn message later.

Then I added in more beef broth, some almond milk and salt and pepper.

Now I added in three cans of gluten free baked beans followed by a large can of diced tomatoes.

Then I placed the lid on the Instant Pot, turned the steam release handle to the sealing position and set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook High for 0 minutes.

Once the Instant Pot was up to pressure and done cooking, I immediatley turned the steam release handle to the venting position to finish with a Quick Release.

Adults and kids alike will enjoy mouthful after mouthful of this comfort food.

    1. Hi Tammy,
Yes, you can use regular milk. I have to watch my dairy intake so I use substitutes.
