Gluten Free Rolo Turtles are a quick and easy dessert recipe that uses Schar Entertainment Crackers. These are the closest gluten free crackers to Ritz.

Schar Crackers only lack the salt which is easily added begore baking and after if more salt suits your taste buds.

Another option for this recipe is to use gluten free pretzels instead of the crackers.  I am just not a fan of pretzels.

This Rolo dessert recipe yields 10 turtle crackers, but can easily be adjusted to suit your needs.

To begin making Gluten Free Rolo Turtles I placed 10 Schar Entertainment Crackers on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Then I sprinkled some coarse salt on top of each cracker.

Next I placed one Rolo candy on top of each cracker.

I placed the baking sheet into a preheated 350F oven for 5 minutes.

After removing the baking sheet from the oven I sprinkled some coarse salt on top of each Rolo candy. I like mine salty so this step is optional  if the first dose of salt is enough for you.

Then I topped each one off with a pecan and pushed down to flattern the Rolo candy.

After letting the Gluten Free Rolo Turtles cool off, add them to any dessert tray, if they are not snatched up by eager family members first!
