To make these delicious brownies I started by melting margarine in an 8 cup (2 litres) microwave bowl.

To the melted margarine I added granulated sugar, almond flour, cocoa, baking powder and xanthan gum.

I used a wooden spoon to blend this mixture together well.

Next I added eggs and vanilla.  The mixture was again blended well with a wooden spoon.

After blending I scraped the batter into a square cake pan that had been lined with parchment paper.

The final step was to evenly spread some mini easter eggs on top of the brownie batter.

Then I placed the pan in the centre of the preheated 375F oven and baked until a toothpick inserted in the centre came out almost clean.  About 25 - 30 minutes

I allowed the brownies to cool in the baking pan before using the parchment paper to lift them out.

Then I sliced them up and served them up to eager family members!
